Charlie Jeer Closes Out Summer With Silky Single “Sun Is Gone”

Kent-hailing hitmaker Charlie Jeer has returned with the release of his latest silk-like single, “Sun Is Gone”. Posing as one of the UK’s hottest rising artists following his debut in 2023, Jeer has accumulated an impressive 90 million streams across all social platforms, not to mention a monthly listenership on Spotify just short of 2 million supporters, in under 18 months of his arrival. Housing co-signs from Songer, Bloody Civilian, RUZE, and Laurence Guy, Jeer’s had further press support from GQ South Africa and Out Now Magazine, who have named him “one of the UK’s new breakout faces of Jazz house”.

Following his appearance at Mix Mag’s ‘The Lab’ alongside RUZE supporting hit-maker Patrick Topping, “Sun Is Gone” gives fans a final slice of summer as the fall weather draws closer. The multi-hyphenate musician, singer-songwriter and saxophonist boasts his signature Jazz influences in this irresistible listen. Detailing the end of a romantic whirlwind with his buttery vocals, Jeer offers an invitation into his current artistic vision. Taking the creative lead on the corresponding music video, Charlie showcases a panoramic view of his artistry, proving himself to be a true creative polymath.

“Sun is Gone is a song about recognising a time in life ending and the feelings that come with it. The studio version is a stripped back, raw and unfiltered expression of that, in a way that feels true to myself and authentic…”
