Louis Vuitton is spotlighting the Speedy P9 through a new campaign that feels more intimate and character-driven than a standard luxury accessories push.
Instead of simply presenting the bag on famous faces, the House reveals what each ambassador and friend carries inside, turning the Speedy P9 into a portrait of personal style, daily ritual and movement.
That approach works especially well because the Speedy P9 already sits so naturally within Louis Vuitton’s travel story.
Originally reimagined by Men’s Creative Director Pharrell Williams ahead of his Spring/Summer 2024 debut, the bag updates the iconic 1930s Speedy and takes its name from Pont-Neuf, the Paris bridge that framed that first runway moment.
Visually, the campaign’s strongest asset is its use of colour. The Speedy P9 appears in rich green, red, blue, yellow, pink and turquoise shades, giving the classic silhouette a more playful and fashion-forward energy while keeping its polished feel.
The “what’s in my bag” concept adds another layer of appeal.
Jeremy Allen White’s green version is packed with everyday staples including a newspaper, notebook, cap and charging cord, while Jude Bellingham’s red bag holds aviators, a plane ticket, passport, jersey and a bottle of Ombre Nomade, making the travel connection especially clear.
Elsewhere, Future’s blue Speedy P9 includes a tennis racquet, jewellery, sweets and a change of trainers, while LeBron James fills his yellow version with golf balls, tees and grooming essentials.
Jackson Wang’s pink bag, finished with fuzzy dice, brings in headphones, family photographs and music references, while Victor Wembanyama’s turquoise design is styled with a mini basketball, deck of cards and an alien Monogram charm.
What makes the campaign engaging is that it treats luxury not as something distant or overly polished, but as something tied to personality and routine.
The Speedy P9 feel less like a museum piece and more like the kind of status bag that actually fits into modern travel, whether that means airport dressing, weekend packing or simply the appeal of carrying your life with a bit more flair.
