Sixteen-year-old Italian singer-songwriter Anna Mozzon is continuing her rise in the pop world with the release of her striking second single, “For You.” A romantic, piano-led ballad told from a first-person perspective, the track reveals an artist whose emotional depth and songwriting instinct far exceed her years.
Having discovered her love for music at just four years old, Mozzon has steadily shaped a sound rooted in honesty and feeling. A songwriter first and foremost, she draws from personal experience to create intimate, resonant songs that balance vulnerability with quiet strength. While she writes with both piano and guitar, it is her gift for storytelling that sets her apart.
Following the release of her 2025 debut single “Innocent,” Anna returns with a song that feels both more refined and more revealing. “For You” showcases a tender yet commanding vocal performance, moving through nuanced melodies with a clear emotional core. As the track unfolds, subtle contemporary production begins to surface through minimal synth textures and a restrained trap-inspired beat, signalling an evolution in her sonic direction while preserving the song’s intimacy.
The single was recorded in East Wenatchee, Washington, in collaboration with producer Vadim Zariuta, marking an international step forward in Anna’s creative journey. Over the course of eight days in the studio, she brought the track to life with support from vocal mentor BOSAYA and poet-rapper Nadirah X. Although the music was composed in Italy, the lyrics stem directly from Anna’s own lived experiences, culminating in the poignant refrain, “I lost myself and now I lost you.”
Blending vintage-style guitar textures with expressive piano arrangements, “for you” captures a sound that feels both timeless and modern. The result is an immersive and emotionally rich single that highlights Anna’s growing confidence as a performer and her instinctive ability to merge classic influences with contemporary pop sensibilities.
Adding to the momentum surrounding the release, Anna has also been named a finalist in the FVG Song Contest 2026, where she will perform her original music on April 18 at Teatro Immersivo P. Maurensig in Feletto Umberto, Udine. The event will bring together ten standout finalists, marking yet another important milestone in what is quickly becoming a breakthrough year for the young artist.
