Fourteen years after its last artist signature amplifier, the legendary British brand has unveiled the 1959BJA Billie Joe Armstrong Artist Signature, created in collaboration with the Green Day frontman and inspired by the unmistakable guitar tone that helped define an entire generation of punk rock.
Built on Marshall’s iconic hand-wired 1959HW platform and enhanced with the custom “Dookie Mod”, the amplifier recreates the gain, punch and clarity behind Green Day’s breakthrough sound while offering the versatility expected by today’s musicians. Finished in a distinctive baby-blue colourway inspired by Armstrong’s legendary guitar Blue, the amp also features custom branding and the artist’s signature.
More than a new piece of gear, the 1959BJA marks the return of Marshall’s artist signature amplifier programme, celebrating one of rock music’s most enduring partnerships while honouring the sound that shaped modern punk.
