Jungle Share New Single ‘The Wave’ Ahead of Upcoming Album ‘Sunshine’

BRIT Award-winning global arena headliners Jungle have shared their new single, “The Wave,” the latest track to be taken from their upcoming album Sunshine, which is set for release on August 14th.

The release follows “Carry On,” which premiered as BBC Radio 1’s Hottest Record and has already amassed more than 14 million streams, alongside playlist support across Radio 1, Radio 2 and Virgin Radio.

Made up of J Lloyd, Tom McFarland and Lydia Kitto, Jungle draw inspiration on “The Wave” from the Brazilian music scene of the 1960s and 1970s. The track channels the warmth, rhythm and musicality of that era while filtering it through the group’s sleek and unmistakably modern production style. Lyrically, the song explores the resilience needed to keep moving through the challenges of a relationship, offering a sense of optimism in the face of difficult moments.

The accompanying video, directed by long-time collaborators J Lloyd and Charlie Di Placido of Contentus Maximus, was shot in South Africa. Continuing the cinematic visual language that has become central to Jungle’s identity, the video builds on the group’s signature one-take, choreography-led style.

Sunshine is available to pre-order and pre-save now, with physical formats including a black 180g single gatefold LP, a Desert Peach single gatefold LP, a translucent brown marble single gatefold LP, and a digipak CD.

Jungle will also take Sunshine on the road with a major world tour spanning North America, the UK, Europe and Australia. The run includes two homecoming shows at London’s O2, with a second date added due to demand.

Remaining tickets for the tour are available now.
