Vivienne Westwood Just Took Over One of London’s Most Iconic Restaurants

J. Sheekey is celebrating its 130th anniversary with a new summer terrace takeover in collaboration with Vivienne Westwood — bringing together British fashion, theatre culture and London dining in the heart of Covent Garden.

Launching this week, the terrace has been reimagined through Vivienne Westwood’s iconic “Evolution of Man” archive print, originally introduced in the Autumn/Winter 1996/97 MAN collection. The artwork now appears across menus, tableware, linens and bespoke design details throughout the space.

Alongside the visual takeover, guests can also expect a limited-edition summer menu created with Guinness and Tanqueray No. TEN, including cocktails like the Black Velvet — a mix of Guinness and Champagne — alongside oysters and seasonal seafood dishes.

A bespoke Vivienne Westwood dessert also joins the menu, featuring mascarpone panna cotta, English strawberries and a white chocolate orb motif inspired by the fashion house’s signature logo.

More than simply a restaurant collaboration, the project captures the growing overlap between fashion, hospitality and cultural lifestyle experiences — transforming one of London’s most historic dining rooms into one of the season’s most stylish destinations.

The J. Sheekey x Vivienne Westwood terrace launches for Summer 2026.
