Casablanca’s Egypt Era Has Officially Arrived

Casablanca heads to Egypt for Pre-Fall 2026, opening a new chapter for the house through a collection shaped by mythology, cinematic fantasy and the romance of travel.

For the first time, the brand explores Egypt as both a real and imagined landscape, using the country’s ancient visual language as the backdrop for a campaign that feels somewhere between a fashion editorial and a surreal film set. Shot by Per Appelgren using virtual production technology, the imagery moves through sandy terrains inspired by Egypt’s White Desert, illuminated constellations and monumental structures that blur fantasy with reality.

There’s a clear cinematic influence running throughout. References to Death on the Nile and The Prince of Egypt shape the atmosphere of the collection, reinforcing Casablanca’s ongoing fascination with escapism and destination-driven storytelling.

Visually, the collection continues the house’s signature balance between sport, luxury and travel culture, but introduces a richer and more mystical tone. Silk shirts and jersey sets feature hieroglyphic-inspired graphics fused with Casablanca’s signature gradients, while emerald, terracotta, navy and gold create a warmer, more desert-driven palette.

Elsewhere, crochet pieces, coordinating sets and swimwear reference themes of cosmology and mythology, adding another layer to the collection’s dreamlike energy. Even Casablanca’s playful side remains present through the return of the now-recognisable banana-shaped leather bag first introduced during Spring/Summer 2026.

What makes the collection resonate beyond surface aesthetics is how naturally it fits into Casablanca’s wider identity. The brand has always existed around the idea of movement — between cities, cultures and imagined worlds — and Egypt becomes another extension of that universe rather than a standalone reference point.

More than anything, Pre-Fall 2026 feels like the beginning of something larger. According to the house, this collection marks the first stage of Casablanca’s exploration of Egypt — a narrative that will continue into future seasons.
