At Escapade, you can follow every second of the race from your bed, your private terrace or even the heated indoor pool. And when it’s time to refuel body and mind, F1’s own Gemma Fisher awaits in the spa, ready to work her high-performance magic.
When Silverstone transitioned from a wartime airstrip to a motorsport landmark and ultimately the first British Grand Prix venue in 1948, its overnight options were limited—think tents and back seats. For decades, little changed. Accommodation remained outside the circuit’s grasp. That’s shifted now, thanks to F1’s global boom. Two on-site hotels have emerged: the Hilton in 2022, with a direct view of the pits, and Escapade, which opened last year. Unlike the Hilton, Escapade offers something truly fresh: an architectural sanctuary conceived by Twelve Architects, on what was once a field of sheep.
Guests choose from Trackside, Dual Aspect or Countryside residences. Each space has a breezy, modern aesthetic, with stained timber cladding, soft Scandi furnishings, vast windows and cantilevered terraces that almost kiss the circuit. Ranging from one to four bedrooms, the homes offer open-plan layouts and either a garage or carport with EV charging. Wake up, hit a switch, and your blinds glide open to reveal the revered asphalt, mere metres away. For F1 weekends, the trackside views alone are worth checking in for.

The reception building is the heart of this ultra-modern micro-village. Here you’ll find the restaurant and bar, topped by a vast, sun-warmed terrace—arguably the best seat in the house come race day. Escapade’s vantage point lies along motorsport’s most dramatic sequence: from the exit of the lightning-fast Copse corner through the sinuous rhythm of Maggotts, Becketts and Chapel. Whether you’re here for two wheels or four, you’ll see the world’s fastest machines defy physics in real time.
And if all that action stirs your appetite, Escapade’s restaurant has quickly become a gastronomic magnet for locals and guests alike. With seamless transitions from bar to table—and views that rival the finest stadium boxes—dining here feels immersive. Chef Matt Tsistrakis delivers a refined, British-rooted menu with global finesse. Expect standout dishes like Old Winchester cheese soufflé with wild rocket or North Sea stone bass with caviar, coastal greens and warm tartare. This is not your average trackside fare.

Downstairs, you’ll find the wellness zone—an indoor pool and sauna with circuit-facing views. But it’s in the treatment rooms that Escapade pushes boundaries. The hotel hosts a satellite clinic of Formula Health, founded by human performance specialist Gemma Fisher. Known for treating Kimi Räikkönen and Lance Stroll, Fisher rose to prominence after diagnosing a spinal injury in Valtteri Bottas during qualifying, allowing him to race the following weekend. Her high-stakes work extends to senior figures like Toto Wolff, helping them maintain peak condition under pressure.
Fisher’s approach is layered and holistic, designed to optimise the body’s performance under strain. While consulting with teams like Williams, she focused on improving human reflexes, precision, and recovery, key for pit crews and drivers alike. “It’s all about split-second execution,” she says. “There’s so much to gain—or lose—in a heartbeat.” Her curiosity led her to ask why so much effort was put into the car, and so little into the person behind the wheel. Her results speak for themselves: faster pitstops, fewer injuries, and praise from the likes of F1 legend Pat Symonds, who called her an “engineer of the body.”

As a registered osteopath, Fisher bridges anatomical science with integrative medicine. Her treatments span immune function, gut health, sleep, mental focus and more. She blends ancient and contemporary practices—acupuncture, cupping, hyperbaric therapy and Nutrigenetics testing—all in service of better living. Her goal? Ease pain, treat dysfunction, or simply optimise wellbeing.
So why not just call your GP? “People want results—and fast,” she explains. Her Formula 1-honed methodology draws high-performers who need immediate relief or proactive care. Though she splits her time between Escapade and Pangbourne, her schedule is typically booked months in advance. A 90-minute consultation costs £250, with follow-up sessions at £190. While many see her directly, Fisher’s Formula Health network now includes 26 practitioners, ensuring each guest is paired with the right expert.

Escapade is a new pinnacle for Silverstone, one of racing’s most historic circuits, now facing off with newer, tech-heavy venues around the globe. If motorsport isn’t your world, this may not be your ideal escape—especially on race weekends, when engines roar. But if it is, this is the ultimate luxury: world-class hospitality with front-row seats.
And Formula Health is more than wellness—it’s a recalibration of self. If a traditional check-up is an MoT for the body, this is a Formula 1 pitstop for your entire system.
