Noon By Noor Spring/Summer 2026

“Mirage”

Presented at London’s Somerset House in an intimate salon-style showcase, Noon By Noor’s Spring/Summer 2026 collection, Mirage, unfolded as a study in minimalism infused with artisanal detail. Shaikha Noor Rashid Al Khalifa and Shaikha Haya Mohamed Al Khalifa balanced fluid silhouettes with inventive textural accents, crafting a wardrobe that spoke equally to the bold dresser and the refined minimalist.

The collection carried a quiet sense of confidence, rooted in memory and art—echoes of desert skies, vintage photographs of Veruschka, and the romantic haze of Pre-Raphaelite paintings. This inspiration was distilled into silhouettes that shimmered with lightness, constantly shifting in perception, much like the mirages that inspired them. “We wanted the collection to feel like that: delicate, fluid, always changing depending on how you see it,” said Shaikha Noor.

Looks leaned into bold simplicity, such as a crisp white cotton bandeau and high-waisted pant, cinched with a hand-knotted woven belt whose fringe details moved with sculptural precision. A trench-inspired maxi coat in washed beige cotton reimagined classic outerwear with the same artisanal knotting, bringing a handcrafted nuance to utility. An oversized white blazer-dress belted with thick black rope and cascading fringe blurred tailoring with bohemian ease—directional yet utterly wearable.

Textures were central. Subtly wrinkled cotton, cotton-silk voiles, and linens were elevated with artisanal knots, macramé belts, and trompe l’oeil appliqué, lending dimension to the clean silhouettes. The interplay of structure and softness allowed for versatile layering: a tailored white blazer styled over the bandeau set exemplified the collection’s balance of comfort and polish.

The palette was grounded in desert tones—sand, pale gold, khaki—softened by white and lifted with Bahraini red and cherry blossom pink. This chromatic range echoed the transience of light, as if the garments themselves shifted between daywear and evening elegance.

Against a psychedelic soundtrack curated by Uwe Doll, the Noon By Noor woman emerged: assured, nonchalant, empowered. She shrugs on a raincoat, reclaims a borrowed shirt, or knots a belt in her own way. SS26 was not about ostentation but about subtle magnetism—quiet luxury elevated by handcraft, a mirage of strength and delicacy.
