Ruti Shares Enchanting New Single “See Through”

Rising singer-songwriter Ruti (they/them) returns with their latest single ‘See Through’, as well as the news that their highly anticipated sophomore EP ‘Maybe I Got It Wrong’ is coming on November 7th. Poetic, emotionally rich, and unmistakably Ruti, the track offers a stirring glimpse into what promises to be a deeply textured body of work.

Musically, ‘See Through’ unfolds like a lullaby, delicate, enchanting, and quietly powerful. Stripped back to little more than strings and Ruti’s striking vocals, the track carries a timeless, near-medieval elegance – gently offset by touches of modern production that bring it into the present. It’s a moment of stillness that reveals the full extent of Ruti’s creative range and influences. While their powerhouse vocals have earned them a reputation for standout ballads, this new single proves Ruti defies categorisation.

In a major career milestone, Ruti was recently announced as support for Bastille on 15th November in Birmingham – a full-circle moment, with the band being one of Ruti’s earliest inspirations. It’s a landmark moment in what’s already shaping up to be a defining era.

This release follows the warmly received singles ‘Maybe I Got It Wrong’ and ‘If I Could Choose It Would Be You’, both of which have offered glistening hints at the emotional and sonic terrain of the forthcoming EP. With each track, Ruti continues to create a space that is wholly their own – tender yet bold, refined yet experimental.

‘Maybe I Got It Wrong’ will mark Ruti’s sophomore EP following the widely praised ‘Lungs’. With the tracks shared so far and growing recognition across the industry, Ruti appears to be stepping into this next chapter more focused, confident, and creatively assured than ever before.
