The high-energy dance track showcases the group’s dynamic artistry, driven by a pulsating synth bass that underpins aespa’s signature futuristic sound. Members KARINA, GISELLE, WINTER, and NINGNING explore their lower vocal registers to reveal a bold, confident new side.
The music video, filmed against the raw industrial backdrop of a Hyundai Steel plant, sets the stage for aespa’s most cinematic visuals yet. With over 225 extras, heavy machinery, and vast storage yards, the video sees the four-piece embody fearless rebels unafraid to take on any “dirty work” for their team.
Sixth Consecutive Million-Seller and Star-Studded Collaboration
Before its release, “Dirty Work” surpassed 1.01 million pre-orders, positioning aespa to secure their sixth consecutive million-selling record—a rare feat in the K-pop industry.
The single arrives in multiple versions, including an English-language version, an instrumental, and a special collaboration with American rapper Flo Milli, who lends her signature fierce rap delivery. Flo Milli rose to prominence with her viral hit “Beef FloMix” and her Billboard Hot 100 breakthrough “Never Lose Me.” On “Dirty Work,” her powerful verses blend seamlessly with aespa’s polished performance, creating an unforgettable synergy.
aespa Make History at Mawazine Festival
Earlier this week, on June 24, aespa became the first K-pop girl group to headline Morocco’s world-famous Mawazine Festival, further cementing their status as global icons.
Their momentum has only accelerated in 2024. aespa’s first full-length album, Armageddon, dominated charts worldwide with its empowering message—“Only I can define myself.” The record spawned multiple hits, including “Supernova,” which NME hailed as K-pop Song of The Year, and the techno-inspired “Whiplash,” their third consecutive smash single.
Fans can stream the single worldwide today and pick up the physical edition, available now. A limited-edition version titled “Dirty Work (Dirty Crew Ring Ver.)” will be released on July 4.
With their unstoppable energy and innovative sound, aespa continues to redefine what’s possible in K-pop.
