The Nigerian superstar brought his unmistakable energy to Apple’s intimate London music venue before continuing the celebrations at an exclusive after-party hosted by Apple Music and Beats.
Burna Boy brought a different kind of energy to London on Thursday, 29 October, delivering an intimate live performance at the newly opened Apple Music Hall before taking the celebrations into the night with Apple Music and Beats.
Set within Battersea Power Station, the 600-capacity venue offered a rare opportunity to experience the Grammy-winning Nigerian artist in a setting far removed from the stadiums and arenas that have become synonymous with his global success.
Backed by his band, From the Outsiders, Burna Boy commanded the stage with a performance spanning some of his most celebrated records, including “Last Last”, “Ye”, “Anybody” and “City Boys”. His distinctive fusion of Afrobeats, dancehall, reggae and hip-hop filled the space, bringing audiences closer to the music and the artist behind it.

But the evening did not end when the performance finished.
Apple Music and Beats continued the celebrations with an exclusive London after-party, bringing the occasion into a more intimate, after-hours setting. Images from the event captured Burna Boy enjoying the festivities alongside guests, dressed in double denim and tinted sunglasses against the party’s atmospheric red lighting.
The evening reflected more than another successful performance. It highlighted Burna Boy’s position at the intersection of global music, fashion and contemporary culture, while demonstrating how intimate experiences can create a different connection between artists and audiences.
For those unable to attend, Burna Boy’s Apple Music Hall performance is available to watch on demand through Apple Music.
