Charlie Jeer continues his rapid rise with the release of “SO GOOD”, a sun-soaked new collaboration featuring British-Indian singer, songwriter and actress Simone Ashley.
Produced by Ben Stancombe, the track blends warm disco nostalgia, sultry production and Jeer’s signature saxophone melodies. Designed as an escape from the noise of everyday life, “SO GOOD” captures the optimism, freedom and energy of summer.
“I wanted to make a song that spreads positivity and joy into the world,” Jeer explains. “Having Simone Ashley on the record is such a privilege. She added so much life and energy to the song.”
Ashley, best known for her roles in Bridgerton, Sex Education and the forthcoming The Devil Wears Prada 2, has also been developing her career in music following the release of her debut EP, Songs I Wrote In New York.
“This track oozes summer and a funk that I couldn’t get out of my head,” Ashley says. “I’ve made some wonderful memories surrounding this song and the making of the music video.”
The pair recently debuted the track during a performance at Windsor Castle, with a teaser from the appearance accumulating more than 6.7 million views on TikTok.
The release follows the success of Jeer’s “MY MADONNA” and its Kilimanjaro remix, which entered Spotify’s Daily Viral Chart across eight territories. “MY MADONNA” has also been featured during the BBC’s coverage of the FIFA World Cup 2026.
Jeer has now accumulated more than 150 million streams across digital platforms and has received support from Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music, COLORS, GQ South Africa, Man About Town and House of Solo.
Alongside the new single, Jeer has announced his forthcoming EP, Take Away My Problems, arriving on 4 September, as well as his first headline tour. The run will take him across Europe in October, with performances scheduled in Stockholm, Oslo, Poznań, Berlin, Copenhagen, Hamburg, Cologne and Paris.
After emerging with “Her Eyes” and building momentum through releases including his Everything Is Temporary EP, “SO GOOD” marks another significant chapter for the 23-year-old Kent artist.
“SO GOOD” is out now.
