Fiorucci’s Real Cast London: When Everyday Life Becomes the Campaign

Karimah Hassan

Fiorucci’s Real Cast, Chapter 2: London turns the brand’s Fall‑Winter universe into something lived‑in and tender, rather than just styled. Shot in homes and studios across the city, the series follows a group of London‑based creatives – writers, painters, chefs, spatial designers and artists – wearing the new collections as they move through their own everyday rituals. Fiorucci’s signatures are all there, but filtered through real life: cherub‑print tops paired with polka‑dot skirts on a sofa between books and tulips, angel‑patch denim stuffed with paintbrushes, a Mini Lips bag dropped casually on splattered jeans.

What emerges is less a campaign and more a snapshot of the city’s creative ecosystem. Couples share kitchens in slouchy tailoring and cardigans, friends stand shoulder‑to‑shoulder in offices and studios, and Marmite prints, laptops and sketchbooks crowd the frame. The clothes feel like part of the scenery rather than an intrusion – knitwear, shirting and denim that you can imagine being worn well beyond a shoot day. Real Cast quietly reinforces Fiorucci’s positioning as a platform as much as a fashion house: the brand provides the wardrobe and a familiar set of icons, then steps back to let London’s community, and their everyday mess and magic, do the rest.
