MM6 Maison Margiela and Salomon continue to refine their collaborative language for Spring/Summer 2026, returning with a capsule that further explores the space between technical performance and conceptual design.
At the centre of the collection is a reworking of familiar silhouettes — the XT-MM6, CROSS DUST and XT-15 backpack — each revisited through a process of subtle transformation rather than reinvention. The approach remains consistent: functionality is preserved, but reinterpreted through MM6’s more experimental lens.
The XT-MM6 returns in three new colourways, ranging from a pale lime yellow with an almost retro-sport sensibility to cooler greys and a darker, more urban iteration. Built on Salomon’s Speedcross sole, the design retains its technical precision, grounding the collection in the brand’s trail-running heritage.
More concept-driven is the CROSS DUST, where a protective gaiter construction is integrated directly into the silhouette. Referencing both Salomon’s performance gear and MM6’s garment language, the design merges different functions into a single form — offering protection, adaptability and a distinct visual identity.
The XT-15 backpack continues this dialogue, updated with refined ergonomics and practical detailing, alongside a contrasting rain cover that adds both function and graphic clarity.
Across the collection, the emphasis is on hybridity. Materials, volumes and proportions are subtly adjusted, allowing each piece to move fluidly between environments — from outdoor terrain to urban settings.
It’s a collaboration that no longer feels experimental, but established. MM6 and Salomon aren’t just blending fashion and performance — they’re defining a category where the two no longer need to be separated.
The MM6 x Salomon Spring/Summer 2026 collection launches from 29 April 2026 via both brands’ platforms and selected retailers.
