For Spring/Summer 2027, QASIMI continued its exploration of thoughtful, contemporary menswear with Undercurrent, a collection that looked beyond the finished garment and towards the process behind its creation.
Presented in Milan, the collection balanced relaxed tailoring, utility influences and artisanal craftsmanship, with exposed seams, visible construction details and layered silhouettes becoming part of the design language itself. Earthy shades of camel, mocha and olive reinforced the collection’s understated sophistication, while deep pleats and modular constructions introduced movement and texture throughout.
What stood out most was QASIMI’s ongoing ability to merge cultural storytelling with wearable design. Inspired by the work of pioneering Emirati artist Hassan Sharif, the collection translated themes of labour, repetition and transformation into clothing that felt both conceptual and remarkably accessible. The result was a wardrobe rooted in modern luxury, where craftsmanship became the statement rather than decoration.
As the house continues to refine its distinctive vision of contemporary menswear, Undercurrent demonstrated that some of the strongest ideas in fashion often emerge from the details we usually overlook.
