Roksanda Spring/Summer 2026

For Spring/Summer 2026, Roksanda Ilincic staged her show in the grand ballroom of the Chancery Rosewood, the former American Embassy, marking the brand’s 20th anniversary with a collection that felt both monumental and deeply personal. Inspired by the work of modernist sculptor Barbara Hepworth, the designer explored form, space, and materiality through garments that balanced architectural drama with painterly emotion.

Roksanda’s signature interplay of colour and texture took centre stage. A full-length silk caftan, printed in sweeping brushstrokes of purple, blue and gold, moved with the fluidity of a canvas come to life. An off-shoulder top brimming with hand-applied ombré fringing—red melting into black and white—spoke to Hepworth’s fascination with movement and depth, while sheer trousers offered a sharp, contemporary counterpoint.

Volume and structure were pushed to ecstatic extremes. An electric cobalt taffeta cape enveloped the body in sculptural folds, layered over satin balloon pants, while an embossed leather coat, oversized and cocoon-like, delivered tactile richness with its glossy surface. The accompanying fringed clutch heightened the sense of avant-garde luxury.

Elsewhere, tailoring underscored Roksanda’s precision. An asymmetric black top with a cinched metallic belt and cut-out shoulder, paired with voluminous satin trousers, radiated unapologetic strength. In contrast, a sleeveless ballgown in iris silk, jacquard-woven with feather motifs, projected ethereal grace, its skirt moving with weightless ease.

The collection also paid homage to Roksanda’s past, reviving iconic silhouettes such as the MARGOT dress from SS12 and the ANYA dress from SS16, reimagined in bold colourways and painterly prints. These callbacks felt celebratory, affirming the brand’s evolution while rooting it firmly in its own heritage.

With slashed and folded fabrics, unexpected pairings of raffia, velvet, and silk organza, and a palette spanning Azure and Cassis to Venetian Red, Roksanda reaffirmed her mastery of sculptural fashion. SS26 was both a tribute to Hepworth’s enduring legacy and a declaration of Roksanda’s own: two decades of redefining femininity through art, architecture, and emotional colour.
