Dom Pérignon x Damien Hirst: The ’90s Icon Brings His Kaleidoscope Vision to Champagne

Dom Pérignon teams up with Damien Hirst for a limited-edition Champagne collection, arriving as ’90s art and fashion return to the cultural spotlight.

The ’90s are back — and Damien Hirst is bringing his own version of the decade to Champagne.

As Tate Britain prepares to open The 90s: Art and Fashion, Dom Pérignon has unveiled a new limited-edition collaboration with one of the most recognisable artists to emerge from the era.

For 2026, Hirst has reimagined Dom Pérignon’s historic shield through his Kaleidoscope series, creating two limited-edition designs for Dom Pérignon Vintage 2018 and Dom Pérignon Rosé Vintage 2010.

The result is instantly recognisable: graphic, colourful and designed to turn the Champagne bottle into something closer to a collectible art object.

A New Take on the ’90s

Hirst came to prominence in the 1990s, a period that continues to influence contemporary fashion, art and popular culture. The decade is now experiencing another wave of interest, particularly among Millennials revisiting a period they experienced first-hand and Gen Z discovering its analogue, pre-smartphone aesthetic.

Dom Pérignon’s collaboration with Hirst arrives at exactly that intersection — connecting a defining artist of the ’90s with one of Champagne’s most established luxury names. For me, that makes the collaboration particularly interesting. It doesn’t simply recreate a ’90s aesthetic; it takes one of the era’s most distinctive artistic languages and places it onto something deeply rooted in luxury and craftsmanship.

Champagne Meets Contemporary Art

Dom Pérignon has worked with artists and cultural figures for almost three decades, including Andy Warhol, Jeff Koons, Takashi Murakami, Karl Lagerfeld, David Lynch and Lady Gaga. Hirst now joins that creative history with a collaboration that feels distinctly visual. The Vintage 2018 edition comes in a blue and black kaleidoscopic design, while the Rosé Vintage 2010 is presented in a vivid pink version. Both bottles feature Hirst’s reinterpretation of the Dom Pérignon shield, extending the artwork across the accompanying gift box.

It is a meeting of two very different creative worlds, but one that makes sense: Hirst’s fascination with repetition, pattern and transformation meets Dom Pérignon’s long history of craftsmanship and reinvention.

The Limited Editions

The Dom Pérignon x Damien Hirst Vintage 2018 Limited Edition Gift Box is priced at £230.

The Dom Pérignon x Damien Hirst Rosé Vintage 2010 Limited Edition Gift Box is priced at £405.

Both will be available from Selfridges from 1 October 2026.

With the ’90s once again shaping conversations across art and fashion, Dom Pérignon and Damien Hirst have found a way to revisit the decade without simply looking backwards.

This time, the nostalgia comes with Champagne.
