MAITREPIERRE Autumn Winter 2026

MAITREPIERRE’s “Crossroads” AW26 plays out like a Godard daydream dropped into the middle of the street, Alphaville haze colliding with quiet Parisian corners. It’s a study in tension: past and future, weight and air, structure and erasure. Lines blur more than they define. Deadstock knits and softened cottons arrive in muted, almost whispered tones, cut into generous geometric shapes that rework the familiar, polos stretched into jackets, ball gowns relaxed into tracksuits.

Stripes echo intersecting streets. Archive scarves fall into single sweeping coats. Fabrics you think you know feel lighter, almost luminous. Sustainability isn’t a footnote but the foundation, 100% deadstock, waste or certified materials, handled with intention rather than announcement.

Beauty adds a flicker of disruption: graphic liner from Kiko Milano, checkerboard braids by Shu Uemura, just enough edge to tilt the softness. And then the accessories, Clara Besnard’s collaboration reframes glasses as masks, coloured strands as earrings, subtle distortions that shift perspective.

It’s escapism, but grounded. Sober, sensitive, and quietly subversive. Clothes that don’t shout, they linger.
