Built around the refrain “You were my oxygen”, the track reframes heartbreak through the lens of emotional dependency, where losing someone feels less like separation and more like survival.

The single was co-produced alongside multi-Grammy-winning executive producer Brent Kolatalo, whose credits include work with Bruno Mars, Lana Del Rey and Kendrick Lamar.
