Oxfloyd Captures The Suffocating Aftermath Of Love On New Single  “Oxygen”

Greek-born, Brooklyn-based artist OXFLOYD returns with his new single ‘Oxygen’, a stark and emotionally exposed release that continues to define his growing presence in the alternative space. Built around the refrain “You were my oxygen”, the track reframes heartbreak through the lens of emotional dependency, where losing someone feels less like separation and more like survival.

Fusing gritty, urgent sonics with a vulnerable emotional core, OXFLOYD’s music draws directly from lived experience. Personal and uncompromising, ‘Oxygen’ invites his growing cult-like online audience into that space, exploring the tension between self-awareness and relapse.

The single was co-produced alongside multi-Grammy-winning executive producer Brent Kolatalo, whose credits include work with Bruno Mars, Lana Del Rey and Kendrick Lamar. The collaboration further sharpens OXFLOYD’s balance of alternative grit and melodic immediacy, elevating the track’s sense of intensity.
