BRIT Award-nominated South London artist and Ivor Novello Rising Star winner Lola Young returns with the emotionally charged new single “Not Like That Anymore”, out now via Island Records / Day One. The release comes hot on the heels of the announcement of her third studio album, I’m Only F**king Myself, set for release on 19th September 2025.
A Bold New Era: “Not Like That Anymore”
Instantly resonant and raw, “Not Like That Anymore” is an alt-pop anthem that builds to a stirring crescendo. Honest, open, and vulnerable, it marks a defining moment in Lola’s evolution as an artist, offering a poignant preview of her upcoming record.
Upcoming Album: “I’m Only Fking Myself” Drops This September**
Set to arrive on 19th September, I’m Only F**king Myself represents a turning point in Lola’s artistry. The record explores themes of self-sabotage, emotional escapism, and the pursuit of truth through turbulent experiences. Co-written and produced with Manuka and SOLOMONOPHONIC (known for work with Doja Cat and SZA), the album balances raw, introspective storytelling with vibrant, rebellious energy.
The album includes the viral hit “One Thing”, which continues its steady climb in the UK Top 20 Singles Chart and has already amassed millions of streams worldwide.
Critical Acclaim and Major Collaborations
Lola Young’s star continues to rise. She was recently awarded the Rising Star Award at the 2025 Ivor Novellos, following her BRIT Award nomination for Best Pop Act earlier this year. She has collaborated with some of the biggest names in music, including Tyler, The Creator on “Like Him” and Lil Yachty on “Charlie”.
After a standout performance at Coachella, Lola joined Billie Eilish on stage in Paris during the Hit Me Hard and Soft tour, proving her global appeal and unmatched stage presence.
