Louis Vuitton continues to deepen its dialogue between fashion and travel with the latest addition to its Travel Book collection, turning its focus to one of Europe’s most layered cultural capitals: Berlin.
For Spring 2026, the House invites Croatian illustrator Miroslav Sekulić-Struja to interpret the city through his own lens, resulting in a sketchbook that feels less like a guide and more like an emotional passage. Rather than documenting Berlin in a literal sense, the narrative unfolds through two characters navigating memory, tension and quiet moments of healing, offering a portrait of the city that is as introspective as it is visual.
It’s a direction that reinforces Louis Vuitton’s long-standing approach to travel, not as movement, but as experience. Since its inception in 2010, the Travel Book series has positioned itself at the intersection of art and exploration, inviting artists to respond to unfamiliar destinations with instinct rather than itinerary. The result is a collection shaped by perspective, where each volume captures the immediacy of a “first encounter” with place.
Berlin, with its contrasts of history and modernity, feels particularly suited to this treatment. Through Sekulić-Struja’s hand, the city emerges in fragments — architectural, emotional, and atmospheric, reflecting the layered identity that continues to define it.
The release also aligns with the Festival du Dessin, where Louis Vuitton will present an exhibition of original works from the Berlin edition alongside previous travel books, further anchoring the project within a wider artistic context.
More than a collectable object, the Travel Book series continues to position itself as a different kind of luxury — one rooted in culture, perspective and storytelling. It’s travel reimagined not through destinations alone, but through the emotions they leave behind.
The Travel Book: Berlin launches from 7 May 2026 in Louis Vuitton stores worldwide, selected bookstores and online.
